Pittsburgh Squash (PSQ) holds an annual meeting, open to all PSQ members.  This year's meeting was held on Monday, September 14th, 2009, at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh, PA, minutes from which can be viewed here.  A financial statement for the previous two years can be viewed here.

Board of Directors Resolution Name Change to "Pittsburgh Squash"

On January 15, 2009, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to change the organization's name from Pittsburgh Squash Racquets Association (PSRA) to Pittsburgh Squash (PSQ).  This follows the recent change of the United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA) to US Squash (USQ).

Board of Directors Resolution Adopting "Point A Rally" (PAR) Scoring

The Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Squash Racquets Association ("PSRA") has voted to adopt Point-A-Rally ("PAR") to 11 scoring effective January 1, 2009, for all PSRA play (team leagues, box league, and tournaments).  This decision follows the recent adoption by US Squash (article here) of PAR to 11 scoring, effective immediately, for all professional and amateur events.  The intent is to remain current with the evolving rules of squash adopted by US Squash and other cities while giving everyone a few weeks to get used to the new scoring system before it becomes effective for PSRA-sanctioned matches.
